You ALREADY KNEW this was a KVD special before even reading the title, huh?? It’s just the epitome of her style, am I right?! Kat Von D is releasing a unique NEW Limited Edition eyeshadow palette called Saint & Sinner on Tuesday, 9.19! The palette will be available in US & Canada at Sephora & Kat’s own website, but won’t be released in other countries until October (meh, sorry guys!). The palette includes 24 bold, bomb shades and will cost – wait for it – $62. Oh, and, it’s 100% vegan.
I don’t know about you guys, but I’m just not into this, at all. The colors just seem kind of random and, clearly, not the most wearable. The whole layout lacks cohesion. And, honestly, it’s a little cheap looking to me. Am I crazy?! Maybe it’s just me but I can’t get down with these oversized, bulky palettes. They seem almost childish, not to mention impractical to actually use on a daily basis with the awkward size/shade and big flap doors. Ahhhh, some of you are probably thinking I’m insane but I just cannot fathom paying $62 for this! Would you drop that kind of cash on this?? Let us know, we would LOVE to hear your take on it!
I believe these colors just about speak for themselves sooooooo not even sure if this post needs to continue but…. I will go on because these are THAT stunning. Kat Von D is releasing 9 new shades of her Everlasting Glimmer Veil liquid lipsticks on Tuesday, 8.22! The shades include Wizard, Reverb, Satellite, Televator, Razzzle, Shockful, Dazzle, Rocker, & Thunderstruck. They will retail for $22 each.
How crazy are these shades?! We bet you weren’t thinking “liquid lipstick” when you first clicked into this post and saw that picture, am I right?! ME EITHER! But, alas, these are lippies! And, hey, we are NOT ever gonna get down on bold, out-there shades! While these are far from your average, wearable lip colors, they are nevertheless incredibly stunning! And to make these even MORE appealing, picture this: a winged liner.with one of these shades. THAT’S RIGHT! You can totally use them on the eyes, too! From a shadow base shade to a bold, fun liner, these are SO multipurpose! If none of these speak to you from the lippie end of you makeup-loving heart, we know the winged-liner ventricle will be SCREAMING for them! (Kind of like how that turquoise blue is doing to me right now).
Would you actually wear any of these on your actual lips!? Please tell us, we have GOT to know!
More shade & light, what whatttt?! KVD has been churning out various version of her original cult classic – this one has a slightly more creamy twist, though. Kat Von D is releasing the crème version of their Shade + Light Contour Palette along with a new contour brush on Tuesday, 8.08 on Sephora & KVD’s website! This version comes with more neutral, warm, and cool shades. These pans are also refillable. We’re thinking it’ll retail for $49 just like its powder sister.
We know cream contouring & highlighting is not everyone’s cup of tea but how visually satisfying is this palette?! With those super smooth, perfectly pigmented shades?! Ugh, we just want to dip our brush in & get to blending! The formula in these is high in pigmentation while remaining smooth & bendable. It’s not greasy feeling, so it won’t slip & slide all over the skin but is buttery enough to melt effortless into the skin. Plus, it’s made to be suuuuuuuper long wearing, so it’ll stick around all day without fading or smudging. And can we talk about the #5 Edge Crème Contour Brush?! It looks so beautifully dense and perfectly shaped! It’s actually tapered & slightly sculpted for allow for precise application and efficient blending! However, the price tag of $32 is definitely crazy steep – it’s only slightly less than the palette itself, geeeeez. But hey, if it works, it works! Do you guys like cream contour or are you strictly powder pretties?! Let us know!
Don’t you just love sister palettes?! We do! Especially when they sparkle. Kat Von D is releasing a new version of her Shade & Light Eye palette – this time as a Glimmer Palette! It will be available online at Sephora’s website on Tuesday, 7.11 & in stores on July 13th! The palette will be $49 and 100% vegan (per usual with Kat Von D). And apparently LIMITED EDITION – ummm, what?! That just can’t be so.
The palette is subtly different but very similar to it’s predecessor – the Glimmer Palette has the same neutral shades from the Shade + Light Matte Eye Contour Palette but I’m a variety of different finishes. The shades will range in finish from a subtle satin for your base, metallic-pear tones to contour with, super reflective glitter to define and, the icing on the cake, special effect glimmer topcoats! The amount of glitter intensity will vary shade to shade to give you lots of versatility & provide endless options to add that light-catching pop of dimension to your look! And, as we expect with Kat, the formula is extra blendable & buildable due to the triple-milled nature of each shade – now that’s what we’re talking about.
Your first thought is probably that, as BEAUTIFUL as this palette is, it’s not comprehensive – in other words, it might be tough to do a complete look with so many shimmery shades. No worries, it was our thought, too. But I’m not sure it’s meant to be that – I’m thinking it’s just perfect to pair up with your Matte Shade + Light palette! Sisters, ya know! They gotta stick together. Pairing those together will give you 24 matte & shimmer shades to mix & match for literally countless incredible looks! Don’t have that palette but dying for this one?! Do ittttt! You totally could use this alone if you’re into all shimmer looks (no shade, you do you!) or pair it up with one of the other many matte palettes I’m sure you have (I’m right, aren’t I? I knew it). The swatches are breathtaking so you are sure to fall IN LOVE with these colors instantly – we can’t wait to see them in action!
We know at least half of you perk up when you hear “Lolita,” am I right?! I know. Kat Von D is releasing a new Cheek & Eye Blush in the shade Lolita at Sephora on Thursday, 6.15! It will be available for $19 (it’s the same size as their Metal Crush eyeshadows, for reference)! From what we’ve seen on Trendmood1 and Kat Von D‘s instagram, there’s been a TON of talk of a whole Lolita collection (the CLASSIC Kat Von D shade – think Stila “Kitten” or Nars “Laguna” type classic) which would be amazzzzing! The shade is the ever-popular rusty-red maroon wine type shade that is universally perfect in fall & summer months. And guys, it’s literally the same exact shade as the liquid lipstick so you can totally be extra & match your eyes and lips TO A T if you’re like that – which we are. So, yes. And remember – KVD is ALWAYS cruelty free & this shadow is vegan, too! It sold out super quick during it’s initial launch last week so make sure you grab it ASAP when it drops this week – you seriously don’t want to miss it.
Get excited – MORE LIP PRODUCTS LADIES! Kat Von D is launching her new collection of Everlasting Lip Liners at Sephora on Tuesday, 4.11! The collection consists of a whopping 30 different shades! OMG! These range from super super light nudes to soft neutral pinks to hot fuchsias all the way to purple, blue & green! We can totally always count on Kat to bring us the most unique lip shades out there. We also totally trust her formula – Kat Von D lip products in general are a cult favorite in the beauty community! They’re consistently long-wearing, comfortable & have CRAZY pigmentation. I mean, what more could we need?! Plus, if you happened to be at IMATS NYC this weekend, you got a chance to snatch these up early before the official launch. SO JEALOUS! And, as always, these lovelies are cruelty-free and vegan!
Last minute announcement! Kat Von D is currently doing an exclusive release once a month with Sephora, and it’s always limited edition and tends to not last long! Today’s special is a flash sale of the 6 new shades of the Everlasting Flash liquid lipsticks. The sale only lasts for 48 hours so you have until mid afternoon 2.03 to buy it! We’ve got a pretty awesome swatch video below of a lucky youtuber named Mirrorsandhaze who got the set before it launched! Wow I wish I was that lucky!
